Hector A. Hooper was born in Cumberland in 1907. In 1943, he married Aina Ruuska, who was born in Nanaimo in 1909. At the time of their marriage, Hector was a brakeman at a coal mine and Aina was a public school teacher. Aina died in 1997.
Materials were donated by Aina Hooper's executor, Lawrence Burns.
Fonds consists of birth certificates and passports of Aina and Hector Hooper and a copy of their marriage registration.
