Harry Hickling was appointed Nanaimo Coroner in 1917. In the 1937 city directory, he is listed as the coroner and as a bookkeeper at Cowie Machine.
Material was donated to the Nanaimo District Museum by L. Hickling in 1969 and transferred to the Nanaimo Community Archives in 1993.
Fonds consists of letters and a certificate related to Hickling's 1917 appointment as Nanaimo's Coroner.
