The Dominion Express office was located on Commercial Street in downtown Nanaimo.
Volume was donated to the Nanaimo District Museum in an undocumented transaction and transferred to the Nanaimo Community Archives in 1993.
Fonds consists of a letterbook which records dates, destinations and delivery charges of the Dominion Express Company in Nanaimo. Some correspondence is included. William McGirr was agent of the Nanaimo office in 1898.
