        T. H. Robertson was a coal miner from 1919-1955 and a British Columbia Mine Rescue Coordinator from 1956-1977.
        The manuscript was donated to the Nanaimo Museum at an unknown date and later transferred to the Archives. There is no documentation for the scrapbook.
        Fonds consists of a manuscript, in question and answer format, about coal mining written by Thomas Robertson. Fonds also includes copies of clippings from Mrs. Robertson's scrapbook. Clipping topics include: Ripple Rock, mine rescue competitions, and family events.
        Title based on the contents of the fonds.
        The scrapbook was copied and destroyed; date of photocopying unknown.
        Fonds was created by combining manuscript, which was filed within an early museum system in "Mining" (Code 3 Box 1) with the scrapbook clippings which were filed in "Families" (Code 22 Box 11) under Mrs. T.H. Robertson.
