3 cm of textual records

Born in Nanaimo in 1908, Wilfred Nicholson was the only child of James and Emma Nicholson. Wilfred Nicholson was a dentist in Nanaimo for many years.
Records were acquired from the Nicholson estate by William Barraclough for the Nanaimo District Museum. In 1993, they were transferred to the Nanaimo Community Archives. A detailed file list prepared by William Barraclough indicates that photographs and other items were removed before their transfer to the archives. Their location is unknown.
Fonds consists of typed and manuscript versions of a family biography written by Wilfred Nicholson and an agreement between Alexander Forrester and James Nicholson to construct a building on Victoria Crescent (Block XIV, Lot 1), receipts from Forrester for payment from Nicholson for said work and a letter from the Nanaimo Epworth League to Nicholson congratulating him upon his marriage.
