        Established around 1930, the Nanaimo Women's Musical Club was organized to study vocal and instrumental music, to give talks on musical topics, and to sponsor concerts and bursaries.
        Material was donated to the Nanaimo District Museum in an undocumented transaction and transferred to the Nanaimo Community Archives in 1993.
        Fonds consists of records of the Nanaimo Women's Musical Club and includes constitution and reports; minutes of meetings 1934-43, 1957-66; general files 1936-66; programs 1946, 1961-1966, scrapbooks and newsclippings.
