        The Track and Field Club began in 1960 with members training on a dirt track. The club incorporated in 1965 and later partnered with School District 68 to develop and create a multi use track and field venue called the Rotary Bowl. The Rotary Bowl was the site of two BC Summer Games, and one BC Senior games. The Nanaimo Track and Field Club continues to manage the facility.
        Fonds consists of records generated by the Nanaimo Track and Field Club. Records are arranged in the following series: Series 1) Constitutions and Bylaws; 2) Minutes; 3) Administration records, 4) Site drawings and specifications; 5) Meets and 6) Miscellaneous.
