        The Ladies Auxiliary to the Civil Defense Guild No. 17 was established in July 1946. By November, it became the Ladies Auxiliary to the Harewood Volunteer Fire Department. The group worked to raise money through bake sales, raffles and other community fundraisers. The first officers were President; Phyliss Milligan, Vice President; Mae Stewart, Secretary; Agnes Virostko, Treasurer; Violet Fraser.
        Some materials were donated by Secretary Betty Harvey. Other materials were donated by Barbara Harling who received them from Jim Morgan, son of Marion Morgan, former LAHVFD member.
        Fonds consists of records created by the Ladies Auxiliary to Harewood Volunteer Fire Department and is arranged in the following series: 1)Bylaws; 2) Minutes; 3) Financial Records 4) Membership Records; 5) Correspondence; 6) Photographs; 7) Scrapbooks and 8) Miscellaneous.
